Loging in is impossible

  • Have you updated FluentHub? You might be using an old version.
  • Have you checked if a similar issue has already been reported?

What version of Windows is this issue present?

Windows 11

What version/architecture of FluentHub are you on?

FluentHub 0.8.60.0 | X64 | RELEASE

Description

The redirect after the authentication is not working. After logging in and authorizing nothing happens. I use arc / FluentHub from mss.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open the app
  2. Click "login with github"
  3. Authorize
  4. Wait.
  5. Nothing happens.

Expected behavior

The content on the app changes and perhaps you can access the home page at this point.

The app should have Here we go! button after authorization with successful notification banner.
Could you try the URL on another browser?

Fixed. Turns out the FluentHub app needs to be closed before authorizing in the browser.

Note that this might be an issue with your browser.
I have tested only with Edge and Chrome.

I tested with Arc and Brave, I might try if that's an issue with Edge or Chrome too...
