At buildspace we take a lot of time to write projects that make sense and are just straight up fun! Just like software, we are bound to make some mistakes, but thats where you come in.
We made all these lessons Open Source so you can help make our projects even better and help others conquer the decentralized web 🤘.
Any and all contributions are welcome! GitHub makes it insanely easy to make contributions directly within their web app! Follow this short guide on how to edit one of our Markdown lessons right here within GitHub!
Rather watch a video? Check out this two minute video, by Alec from buildspace, for submitting a contribution to a lesson!
You will notice in each project folder there is an en
and es
folder. We are in the process of translating our projects to Spanish (and hopefully more languages)!
If you are contributing to the English version, make sure your changes are done in the en/
folder. If you are contributing to the Spanish version, make sure to make your changes in the es/
folder!
Each project aligns with the content on your buildspace dahsboard. Find the file you want to change and open up a Pull Request for it! Someone from the buildspace team will take a look at it ASAP!
You have access to all the this content right here in GitHub! Whats the point with signing up with buildspace?
You and thousands of other devs are in this together. When you sign up for a project, you are placed in a group of devs who are there to help you succeed! Check out our Discord to see what all the hype is about!
Get access to multiple sessions of collabortive coding! Here you will be able to ask questions directly to the instructor and others in your cohort! All while hacking along to epic Lo-Fi Tunes.
Thats right. Be one of the first 100 people to complete your buildspace project and claim your very own, custom NFT 🤘.
Feel free to submit an issue here to help us keep track of things that need to be fixed.
This is awesome! Your first Open Source contributon is always a great one. If you're not entirely sure on how to "Fork" a repo or make a "PR" take a look at these awesome resources from Github:
