bullseye-backports 6.1 kernel bootloops LS-WVL

Just want to write this down somewhere public. OpenMediaVault enables kernel backports by default, which is something I did not know before. One day apt upgrade installed linux-image-6.1.0-0.deb11.9-marvell and I did not pay attention, so in the end I had to get myself a SATA dock to fix it.

I have no idea what causes that kernel to bootloop.

Hard to say or sure without serial console output. My guess would be it's less about the kernel itself and more something it changed that effected the initrd or fstab/etc.
