Notification for Object Caching

Via support monitor, 10up experience plugin can provide alert/warning if object caching is not working properly, which can be either due to service down, configuration issue, or the object-cache drop-in missing. This alert/warning can help to avoid degraded performance issue.

Designs

On the systems side, we can check object-caching is working by using the wp-cli command like:

wp cache add zabbix 1

This will add a value 1 in zabbix and we can use below command and it should retrun 1

wp cache get zabbix

And then finally we remove the object by:

wp cache delete zabbix

We can use similar approach on the code side to validate the caching.
