Describe the bug
Using the 10up WP Compat Validation Tool, the .git directory is included in our final release asset. We should update to the latest version of this tool to avoid this problem. Since we currently require the dev-trunk version of that library, we should only need to run a composer update to bring in the latest changes and fix the bug.
Steps to Reproduce
Run composer install --no-dev -o and then inspect the 10up-lib directory that gets created. There's a .git folder in there
