i do kinda like the extra visibility on nesting levels with the indentation, but... i'm not really a fan of uncopyable bullets either...

well it could render with actual bullet/- chars instead of the fake ones, but
feels like they're not much better than ascii art lists
the one advantage is that you can have multiline list items of course, but...
