Low priority 765th requests

These requests were posted in the forum before so Ill transfer them here so that they are not lost in space, I marked them as low prio. The nr 3 is perhaps most easy to facilitate at first.

Background

In Sweden, I also heard in Norway (?), most likely Finland, UK etc it is more and more common to see Russian military aircrafts flying close to our borders. To test reactions, provoke and for what not other reasons. This leads to that Swedish airforce have to intercept them to ID, to tail them etc.

Request 1a:
Therefor I request to have Russian patrols along THEIR border. I have used Bear bombers, Su24s etc. It adds to the effect and feeling to see contrails on "their" side of the border while doing patrol. A feeling of them being close by. Also it gives the opportunity for AWACS to "steer them down" to simulate an intrucions that have to be escorted back. I would argue that this is a very real scenario.

Request 1b:
Also if possible perhaps one could have russians doing the same, when we are flying close to the border. To track our movement. I dont know if at all this would be possible.

NOTE! that this is NOT to set up scenery where we start doing turnfights with russian military aircrafts in the sence that if they track our movements with fighters. IT is just to give that added feel of something is happening!

Background

I would argue, the same as we have radar stations, so then they must have radar stations?
So it would only be realistic to see some kind of signal that they are monitoring our movement on our border.

Request 2a:
Therefor my request is to place EWR stations, and/or AWACS on russian side. This is to display a search radar and A50 on the RWR. It would add to the feeling of that you are flying close while patrolling the border.

Background
In Sweden quite much of the rec. flights that was performed during the 1970-80 and I would say to present time, involves to fly over ships and track their movements.

Request 3
It would therefore be interesting to have ships out on the ocean (perhaps in Moa west?) on international waters distance (?) like 50-60 nm out from the coast. This we could track both with the AJS37, and us 765th as escort flight. Or just the 765th as part of our navigation practice flights.

(It doesnt have to be war ships)

we have code for this, we could easily also implement it that those patrolling fights might engage IF and only IF you violate their border.

If Neck approves, I'd be happy to implement it.

Well for us it would be great. Not that we would on purpose intrude on their borders. After all in that case we have done something wrong so. But yeah that would be great! Exactly what I was looking for. On a altitude high enough so that you could see their conlayers.

I ran the identification thingy with the Bear bomber and if there is a way to on a random basis drag down say a Bear that we could follow back to their border it would be a interesting scenario. And if I may add not entirely unrealistic!, quite the opposite. It could even be over international waters now that we have relocated.

Thanks for input @132nd-Entropy.

This is something that will be implemented in a way, but I will make it in order to have settings were we escalelate from trainings to operations, so it will be part of a bigger setup.

However, that will first happen after all training/range work is complete (documentation, setup, ranges, airspace, etc). Once everything is in place and working, then things that are not related to training will be added.

Yeah no stress hence i set it to low prio. , (although for us it would very much be a good and welcome training)

No, intercepting enemy aircraft is not training, that is an operation.

Ok fair enough

I think it would be nice to have this option eventually - for Advanced Training Nights, or when we use the training mission as a template for combat missions. There are certain aircraft (like the Bear) that there are no module for, so AI is the only option. But I totally see the point about intercepting 'real' (in the context of our TRM backstory) REDAIR not being considered training - and should not be part of regular training nights, and I fully agree with it.

Closing this as 765th is not active anymore.
