Ryan Johnson and Jeff Keen from ONRR/NRRD will be presenting
The Natural Resources Revenue Data website was one of 18F’s first projects. Built largely with Jekyll and D3, the site – and the way in which the team worked on it – was unique at the Department of the Interior.
After nearly 5 years of work on the site, the team 18F helped hire to continue site development is transitioning the codebase from Jekyll to GatsbyJS. Ryan Johnson and Jeff Keene from the Office of Natural Resources Revenue will talk about why and how they’re transitioning to Gatsby, and share some of the obstacles they’ve encountered along the way.
