RFE: allow specifying of scales on axis

I'd like to be able to force a specific time range on the horizontal axis, or at least set a minimum and maximum time range to display on that axis.
Would be nice to be able to lock multiple graphs to the same time axis as well.
Might be nice to set a maximum hight for the vertical axis just to prevent some arbitrary scaling.
