Attempting to get RGB Matrix to work w Pi 4

Hi, I am trying to get a new 64x32 RGB Matrix led Board to work. The one I received is like this

I am using a Pi 4 with an Adafruit rgb matrix bonnet
I am using a 5V 5Amp power supply
So far I have not even seen a single light flicker
Is there a better set of instructions to use than these?

From those instructions I am using the library by Henner Zeller and the
“convenience” mode during install.
Can someone confirm which end the ribbon cable is supposed to be plugged into ?
