Details

The synthesis equation of acetylsalicylic acid (aka aspirin, C9H8O4) through by reacting salicylic acid (C7H6O3) with ethanoic anhydride (C4H6O3) should be perfectly valid; yet CHEMaths clearly thinks it consists of 2 separate reactions.
