Paste an image into the website

If I'm not mistaken I seem to remember a time when I could simply copy an image from images.google.com and paste it into the website. This doesn't work anymore.

I think this may depend on your browser - using something Chromium-based, I've been able to paste consistently
Which OS/Browser combo are you using?
