Hints don't work in Firefox 46

When I try to follow a link-hint. (i.e. hit f and then type one of the hint indicators,) I get this error:
resource://dactyl/styles.jsm: 248: TypeError: can't assign to properties of (new String("hint-positions")): not an object
and the link is not followed.
