Any way to make this work on 1.12.2??

The setup should be identical between versions, but to be completely honest, this wasn't all that reliable in the first place... idk if it was the mod not liking the long urls or github blocking it.
If I were you I'd just settle on dumping the skin files in cachedImages and bundling them with a modpack or something 🤷

Got it working, turns out i wasn't enabling "UseCustomServer" on the cfg lmao
