What happened?
AudioPCI ES1371 no sound output after resume from Windows Standby (Windows 98)
Switch to Sound Blaster AWE64 sound card, it has no such issue.

Win9x: AudioPCI (ES1371) VXD driver
Win2000 + 686BX + Pentium II + AudioPCI (ES1371) configuration can also reproduce this bug.
