Alignment discussions are ongoing involving participants from MSG-191 and MSG-201.
Key Decisions:
- Use FederateName (HLAunicodeString) as the unique identifier for FederateApplications.
- Allow SymbolIdentifier with wildcards in NETN-ORG for initialization. FederateApplications are required to "fill-in" wildcard elements with proper value when creating and updating corresponding simulated entities with SymbolIdentifier. Also allow '-' in SymbolIdentifier to indicate N/A value (does not need to be filled-in by federate application).
