Where can I get the password to unprotect the sheets on the excel file?

When I open the file I have to choose an email to use in order to be able to modify the file, this email has to be an institutional one, otherwise, the access is denied. I only have a personal email, therefore, I think that the only way I could modify the excel file is to get the password to unlock the sheets (on excel: review tab - unprotect sheet).
