Starting off with support for OSX. Pretty straightforward, although the process is a bit more convoluted than it is on Linux. There are essentially 3 steps to the process:

  • Create the ramdisk
  • Initialize the ramdisk
  • Mount the ramdisk

If the process fails at any point, there also needs to be a way to roll it back without having to restart the machine.
