edit command appears not to work

After submitting the command edit deck/fundeck action/edit index/1 front/what is a cell back/a cell is a building block there is no change to fundeck. Only after I click the "edit" button within the UI does "what is a cell" appear. It appears 3 times as separate cards rather than editing a single card.
