Exception with IDEA plugin

I'm not really sure what happened and I'm unable to reproduce it, but I got this from IntelliJ when I closed a file:

Argument for @NotNull parameter 'file' of com/intellij/openapi/roots/impl/ProjectFileIndexImpl.getModuleForFile must not be null

can confirm I see that as well since I upgraded to the latest version of the plugin (version 1.2.1) in IntelliJ 14.1.5

I've seen it, too. Can't tell (yet), when and why it happens, though. It doesn't seem to be breaking anything, but plugins throwing exceptions are always annoying. :(

Maybe it's related to decompiled classes? I just got this exception whilst viewing the decompiled class sun.awt.X11.XToolkit from the JDK. (On IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2016.1.1 with JDK 8u76)
