Adobe Analytics 2.0 : Refreshing acess_tokens is not following any specific timeframe

Closed this issue · 1 comments

Is there any specific timeframe for refreshing an access token to achieve longer validity of tokens?

A large number of users are using our Adobe Analytics 2.0 application. Currently, some of our customer's access tokens are getting refreshed daily while many other customers are using old tokens without refreshing for around 2 weeks or so.

It's a very critical case for us. We would like to know why tokens are behaving differently and if there's any way we can achieve the equal refreshing timeframe for all access tokens.

The refresh tokens should be valid for 2 weeks. If they are not working this way please reach out to Adobe client care with the details so we can get it to the appropriate team to take a look.

FYI - We recently released a new OAuth server to server which can be used to get new access tokens whenever they expire without having to re-authenticate. Perhaps this new auth type would help with your use case? https://developer.adobe.com/developer-console/docs/guides/authentication/ServerToServerAuthentication/#oauth-server-to-server-credential
