Login redirects back to login page

I just upgraded to the latest version from 1.4.1 1.6.2 (I think this was actually the latest version I was on) and when I login I am directed back to the login page.
So far I have tried the latest release version as well as the git version. I'm using PHP 7.2 and have also tried 7.1.
The only output to my error_log is below.

It looks like the latest version that works is 1.6.2.

Alright. It looks like some things needed to occur over time/occasional updates. I'm now on the latest version and it appears to be working.
