Description

After entering my credentials and 2FA token during the login process, I am presented with a paradoxical view showing both the normal user interface, and the login page at the same time. I am logged in and can chat with avatars nearby, however my world view is obstructed by the login screen.

WORKAROUND FOR THOSE IMPACTED

  1. When logging in, ensure every single "remember" box. is checked. This includes: Username, password, and 2FA.
  2. If the issue occurs, relog and repeat if necessary at least one time.

Reproduction steps

This is not a 100% repro as there's some black magic afoot, but this is the general story that occurs.

  1. Fill in username and password, do not click remember password
  2. Enter MFA token when prompted, do not click remember this computer

This is a very common issue that we hear about in support, and I have run upon this at least once myself. As I can not find an existing issue for this bug I am creating one to deter invalid attempts to do so by the public.
