Hi dev,
I really love your app and I use it all the time - probably the only working and updated open source film database project.

There are a couple of things I could suggest from a UX perspective if you are interested:

  When you are on a movie page, expected action for the arrow in the top left would be to go back to the movie reviews list. Instead it goes to the offscreen menu. I would suggest maybe a second button for this? Even if you click the arrow, it will give the option to go to movies again, but it will take you to the same movie page when clicking the "Movies" option. At the moment, you have to use the Android "go back" action/button to actually go back to the list.

  I would suggest increasing a contract between a given star, and the empty field on the main page. It's a little bit clearer when you enter the movie page, because of the dark background, but on list page, it's almost impossible to spot.

  A typo - missing "s" in series

There are a couple more things I would suggest if you are interested :)

I also noticed that the readability of the stars is not so good. Awesome app!
