Works but how do I tweak it for 2D Platforming?

This code actually works in my 2D Platformer I'm developing in Unity but with a small catch, it reduces the collision of the player sprite, causing it to fall through the platforms. I'm wondering how can I tweak the code to make it so that he's temporary invulnerable but doesn't completely fall through the floor
