Highlight matched text string in filtered results

The default Command Palette highlights strings in the filtered list of results that are matching the string from the input field, this is feature I really am missing and would like to be implemented.
For example, typing "str" would highlight those letters in the word "String" as String

I know this has already been requested in #57 but I wanted to make it into one separate issue as it should be.
