@CharlesWu123 I'm unable to reproduce here on Ubuntu 20.04
image

  1. Which OS, OpenCV version, Python version, and CMake version are you using?
  2. Does the problem consistently occur even on fresh clone; i.e. if you clone the repository again, run cmake or cmake-gui with the desired options in a build folder, and run make, are you able to reproduce this problem?
  3. Does CMake produce any warnings or errors in the output?

Thanks for answering my question, I tried many times but still did not find the cause of the problem

  1. Ubuntu 16.04, OpenCV4.1, Python3.6.4, CMake 3.5.1
  2. Yes, I cloned again, but the problem still occurs.
  3. CMake did not cause problems. just make

@CharlesWu123, thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I don't have an Ubuntu 16.04 box or VM handy right now to test this issue, and I'm not sure if it would be very useful seeing as how Ubuntu 16.04 is reaching the end of it's support cycle in April this year. With this in mind, I can only recommend to upgrade your system and try again.

I'll keep this bug open until April. If more people indicate they're having the same problem, I'll reconsider my position and take another look.

@Algomorph, thank you for your reply and suggestions. I will temporarily use other methods to solve my current problem.
