When selecting the pattern for the first time in Setup, have a pause to confirm

Have the PatternView leave the pattern on the View for the first Pattern draw so that the user can confirm by pressing some kind of button that it's what they actually want as their pattern. Right now, it automatically clears it and assumes they drew their first pattern correctly
