Referring a comment in #21, looks like Ember CLI has finally dropped support for broccoli 1. It's time to move to broccoli funnel now.

@shen6653 Unfortunately @alexgb seems to be inactive to respond to all PRs for this project, that in turns reducing my momentum as well 😛
I have decided to publish my fork as ember-simple-react and continue to work on it to attempt to revive this project.
Meanwhile there is https://github.com/alexlafroscia/ember-react-components that achieve the same fundamental goal (allowing React in Ember) with different approach and philosophy. You can consider that if it resolves your current issue. Thanks!
