Missing license

Hello!
I'm interested in using this library in a commercial application, but there is no LICENSE file, which should mean that the source code is under copyright. Is this on purpose?
Thanks!
I don't know the normal procedure for this. I'd allow anyone to use it wherever they see fit without warranty. Is there a standard license for that and how should I add that to the repo?
I would love to have a little list in the README showing what apps are using this package.
Thanks for the fast response! The MIT license is usually what we look for, it permits commercial use without providing warranty or liability. This example is from a library we're using: https://github.com/pointfreeco/swift-snapshot-testing/blob/main/LICENSE. Unfortunately the apps my team works on are confidential, but if we can successfully adopt this I'd be happy to personally share and recommend!
