Error when building (oe-core)
Closed this issue · 1 comments
Hi,
When I try to build, I get the following issue:
blaismoj@ca627647:~/angstromdistr/setup-scripts$ MACHINE=beaglebone-black bitbake virtual/kernel
Pseudo is not present but is required, building this first before the main build
ERROR: OE-core's config sanity checker detected a potential misconfiguration.
Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable the checker (see sanity.conf).
Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:
Please set a valid MACHINE in your local.conf or environment
ERROR: Execution of event handler 'check_sanity_eventhandler' failed

If I add MACHINE = "beaglebone-black" in setup-scripts/conf/local.conf, it makes no change. Same thing if I do export MACHINE=beaglebone-black.
I get the same error when I try to build for beagleboard (I tried just to see if beaglebone-black was the problem).
Thanks,
JBM
'beaglebone-black' is not a valid machine. 'beaglebone' covers both white and black
