Make junctions, routers, bridges and maybe gates for plastanium conveyors.

In their current state, plast conveyors are impractical

Do you not think that these were intentionally left out of the game? They are not impractical in the least. The point is that you can have one plastanium conveyor to your core and connect dozens of lines to it instead of having to use 3 titanium conveyors, which doesn't even work well.
