Call out for crowd funding and / or investment gurus?

Closed this issue · 9 comments

Hey fellow Appsterdammers, I'm organising the second part of the Guru Session "so you have an idea for an app" http://www.meetup.com/Appsterdam/events/211359702/?comment_table_id=439154962&comment_table_name=event_comment.

Participants are asking for dates but I'm having trouble finding crowd funding and / or investment experts to fill a 30min spot. Do you all have any suggestions or names I could contact?

It's getting urgent, so any help here would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
-Tom

Hey Tom! Maybe KPMG has someone to recommend. Do you know Daniel Hoorn?

Thanks Tara. Yes, Daniel helped out for the first workshop helping participants with a business canvas model for apps. I’ve contacted OnePlanetCrowd, Seeds.nl http://seeds.nl/ & Teach2Fish. No repsonse. Thought I’d ask the Appster-network.

:)

Hi Tom,
some time ago I attended a presentation from Amsterdam MediaLAB and one of
their projects was dedicated to a toolkit for choosing the best
crowdfunding platform. According to their description "Its aim is to better
inform you about what the crowdfunding process involves, before you start
your own campaign."
See this link: http://networkcultures.org/moneylab-toolkit/credits/
Though I don't have a connection with anyone there, I thought you might
find it something to start from and maybe connect with the authors.

Cheers,

Giovanni

Patrick de Zeeuw, Founder of startup bootcamp. Don't have much time, so try Google his emailadres (startupbootcamp.org) or send him a tweet.

I was thinking of SellanApp, but it seems they've shut down recently, and rather abruptly: https://twitter.com/SellanApp/status/525643080347967488

I can't come up with the name of who was running it, but I'm pretty sure it was someone that quite a few people from our community know.

Thanks so much @francisca @judy. I will follow up with these guys. Cross fingers.
