Redirecting the complete URL inluding the request URI

hi,
i found your project because i want to proxy all requests to another domain on jimdo.
i tried out exactly your example in the readme - just changed the target domain in the forward() call.
i expected that the complete request uri (everything after the domain part) is added automatically to the new target domain. but this does not happen.

is it required to add the path manually? if yes, can you help me with an example?
