PowerBI does not work in Chrome

We are using the Power BI Embedded for WordPress version 1.1.7. We recently migrated to a new Linux App Service on Azure. The plugin works and displays in Firefox 118.01 and Safari version 15.1. However in Chrome v. 117.0.5938.149, we get an empty space where the embed should be displayed. Attached is a screenshot of the console output. Please advice how to fix this.

I think that this is related to the issue that I am experiencing.
I've modified the code to use fetch and would recommend that you look into using this to removing and replacing jQuery in the code.
