ENH: Quantities of element layers

Enhancement Description

Would it be possible to also get other quantities of layers than just the thickness. It would be very useful to have area and volume (at least volume). This could play a major role in LCA calculations through IFC where you need the volumes to calculate environmental impact. I've checked in several viewers I found always only thickness.

I don't think these quantities are by default calculated by Revit, however the Roombook extension does calculate them.
