Problem Description

... We have the following problem with IFC4 export:
Insulations of some pipe fittings are placed in the wrong position in the IFC file. The problem occurs when using the IFC Revit View [BuildingService] export setup. With the IFC4 Design Transfer [Unofficial] setup, the bends are placed correctly but look different (faceted). Up to exporter 23.2.5 the export still worked correctly, from 23.3.0 the error occurs. I have uploaded a zip fille with a small project in which 2 out of 4 pipe fittings are exported incorrectly.

Thanks for this. I can reproduce it in 2024 but not in 2025. Try it there, if you can. we are meanwhile preparing updates to the open source exporters.

Thank you for the information. The problem does indeed not occur in 2025. Unfortunately, we cannot change the version for the project, but we are looking forward to the updates so that we can also export correct IFC files from 2024. Thank you for the effort.
