Dramatically reduce air movement speed

This could perhaps depend on the element of the player, but should be slower than the normal movement speed. This change should affect both walking and running speed.

Should the air speed be the same for both standard movement and intense movement? @Xereden any thoughts?

Been thinking that perhaps the jump physics should be more similar to N than Super Mario. Perhaps that would solve the floaty feeling that most people seem to have when they see the jump physics in this game.

Still, the way jumping works in Cave Story does not seem to be the right way to go. Able to adjust jump mid-flight, but hard to turn and fire at a target and nail the jump at the same time.

Air movement speed is different than land movement speed. In addition, there are different resistive forces for each.
