I took a look at the golem model earlier. Unfortunately I don't really know quite how blender's rigging works yet, but I can tell just from rotating the bones that there's some things that aren't really going the way I would assume they would. it seems the fingers on the model's right hand (just the last two bones on each finger) are weighted to the left hand's fingers. Also, I'm not sure how blender does it, but i couldn't really find a root bone. I tried moving the middle spine bone, but it detatched from the rest of the armature, and the right hip did the same. The left hip, however, doesn't move at all, which i thought was really strange. As for a few just nitpicky things, the front of the chest probably shouldn't move when you rotate the head, and the sides of the torso probably shouldn't move when you rotate the shoulder.
