Disappearing mod installation

For some reason, every time I attempt to install the 1.7.10 version of the baubles mod into my pack on the twitch launcher, it uninstalls itself upon launching the game. I have tried addon the mod manually but that doesn't seem to change the issue. It uninstalls from the launcher and completely deletes all data from the instance folder whether installed through launcher or manual.
