Bluetooth OBD2 Connectivity issue

I'm also trying with Kiwi 3, and no luck so far. It'd be great to have a screen in the app to connect/check status of Bluetooth OBD2 adapter connectivity. Checked the code, it looks for device name contains "obd", tried to rename the device, still nothing. Maybe a video on troubleshooting OBD2 device connection? If users cannot pass this mandatory first phase, it will quickly undershadow the value and sophistication of the entire solution and they will easily give up.

Agreed!! The app needs a 'select obd device screen'. Currently the app tells me. It can't find mine, but another app finds it straight away.

Just needs a little polish

Hi, thank you for your suggestion,
you can use OBD simulator or try to develop this and make Pull Request
it's out of scope of this proof of concept project
I personally use cheep OBD devices from AliExpress and it works
