Can we run it on NET 5.0

I am asking that question because I am getting the following error:

Unhandled exception. DotNetty.Transport.Channels.ClosedChannelException: I/O error occurred.
   at DotNetty.Transport.Bootstrapping.Bootstrap.DoResolveAndConnectAsync(EndPoint remoteAddress, EndPoint localAddress)

I have raised a concern on the gitter channel and no answer for almost a month now. That kind of tell me that this project is abandoned.
