Firefox 71 Appears to Break B-DNS

Opened this issue · 4 comments

After upgrading to Firefox 71, the extension has not been functioning. I inspected the extension, and am reading a few errors. I don't know if these are new.

Upon focusing into a window, I see this message:

Warning processing windowTypes: This property is deprecated global.min.js:250
Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. (19) h0-main.js:1:185299

Then, when l attempt to load a page, I see these two errors:

Unchecked lastError value: Error: Missing host permission for the tab (5) background.js:12
Unchecked lastError value: Error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. background.js:16

I don't believe this to be a local problem, considering I've seen complaints left in the extension's most recent reviews. However, the symptoms I'm experiencing may be unique.

I have same problem on all firefoxes. Someone please fix it, have to use chrome for now

Not work at all.

Same here, but it seems to be related to changes in Firefox, because the PeerName extension (for namecoin & emercoin only) has stopped working, too. (Currently on FF 83.)

Same here. Doesn't work at all.
