writelto writes to B tape only; A tape rsync not permitted

gave these errors (among some others):
rsync: recv_generator: mkdir "/Volumes/17091A/1a_auto-parts_00000_pm0038726" failed: Operation not permitted (1)

I reformatted the tapes and tried again. It worked, but I still don;t know what was causing the problem. The only difference between the tapes was that the A tape had some files that were not in subdirectories.

I will leave this open until it's clearer what happened.
