Checklist of tasks for CV

• No spelling and grammar mistakes (Use Grammarly for free!)
• 2-page length maximum (Between 450 and 600 words)
• Keep formatting simple
• No pictures
• Your name as the name of the document, not "MY CV v3"
• Avoid vague buzzwords and clichés in your summary
• Include contact details (phone number very important)
• Write consistently in the same tense
• Avoid personal pronouns
• Include at least 2/3 experiences outside of CYF
• Include at least 12 bullets points
• Write all bullet points in the past tense
• Begin each bullet point with an active verb
• Quantify each bullet point (Include numbers!)
• Explain clearly details on education (what you learned, covered, etc)
• Make sure to include your final project in 'Experience'
• Add languages to the skills section
• Describe technical details of what was developed / you did
• Has it been reviewed and approved by a career mentor. #1
