Docker containers not updating

I have docker container updates included under the extras function. The script seems to read the docker-compose file, but when it comes to updating any of the docker containers i get the following error:

    Can't find a suitable configuration file in this directory or any
    parent. Are you in the right directory?

    Supported filenames: docker-compose.yml, docker-compose.yaml, compose.yml, compose.yaml

The script then removes the downloaded image.

All of the docker containers are under the same stack, so same docker-compose file. The compose file is located under /root/docker of the LXC.
