Hello josh GOOD Jobe so far but There is something to be changed ♻️

try to create that input field dynamically through JS.
try to create a modules folder for each js file so it'll be easy to understand and tackle.
for the edit try to create a focus for your input field or create an edit button to assess the input field quickly.
