Convert UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleGray to UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleMedium

Is it possible to convert all native UIActivityIndicatorView styles to UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleMedium to support iOS 13+ light/dark modes. Overriding the "color" property doesn't seem to change the color when the style is UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleGray.
