i thought it might have been because of my theme (comfy legacy) but when i removed it, catjam still didnt work.
it just doesn't appear at all :/

haha nvm im sorry, i looked through the issues and found that we needed to apply it in settings

btw, i think adding .gif and .mp4 support would be very cool! :D
