๐ [Warrior] - Thunderclap scales with Spell hit, but should scale with melee hit. Bad Interaction with Thunderfury debuff ( See Additional Information)

Decription:
Thunderclap scales with spellhit instead of Meleehit (Comparison with Taunt).
How it works:
Thunderclap has 17% misschance and scales with Spell hit, making it resist alot on bossfights.
How it should work:
Thunderclap is part of the Physical Spell School, so it should scale with physical Hit. It should work the same way as "Taunt", where a "miss" is displayed as resist. The base resistchance ( With 0 hit) is 9% but it still remains a 1% chance to resist like with spells.
Source - You need to provide a source as evidence:
" Some physical abilities, like Demoralizing Shout and Thunder Clap, are treated like spells. These abilities have a chance to miss like all spells, which can be offset by Hit rating, but resistance to these abilities cannot be increased. "
"Hit" is specificly linked to the melee Hit article here. Not the Spell hit article. (https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Hit) - Its not possible to find people complaining about a 17% miss chance on the internet.

Thist is very likely one of these "never patched" things in the CMangos core, where parts of the spell still work, like they were during some vanilla patch, since thunderclap once was a Naturespell.

The 30s Thunderclap buff gets overwritten by the 20% attackspeed Slow of Thunderfury. It would be cooler if it would work like Expose Armor & Sunder Armor, where the weaker effect(Thunderfury Attackspeed reduce) doesnt get applied while the stronger is active.
However just fixing the hit bug, will make it easier to just reapply the buff if thunderfury doesnt want to procc in time to keep it up.
On the last server it was kinda anoyying to have a pretty significant chance for Thunderfury to remove Thunderclap, not procc for 14s and thunderclap resisting 3x in a row, which caused the boss to attack faster again.
